On Wednesday the 26th of October, members attended a watercolour workshop given by local artist Catherine Beale at the Downside Abbey Visitor Centre, and was hosted by The Chilcompton Art Club. The title of the workshop was 'Lake Reflections' and enabled members to work at using Catherine's technique of "Gravity Painting". This is where the paint from the main image features, is allowed t o flow down the paper and produce the illusion of reflections, as can be seen in the photos below. We would like to thank Catherine for an entertaining and informative workshop.
